How do you deal with socialising in and out of academia? It seems a big problem for me because I often get in a situation that my brain completely freezes when people surrounded me are over 3. I am comfortable and outgoing (may chatty) when this number less and equal to 3. I think it is a problem I should overcome cuz I'd like to find a job outside the academia, given that finding a job can associates a person's like-ability. Please help me, many thanks.

I’m a second year BigLaw associate that pays market. I was offered the position at a modified salary and hourly expectation due to their expected work flow needs. I’m wondering what is the best way to approach the topic of getting on the full salary/hours. Do I wait until the bonuses are given at the end of my first year? Or bring it up at mid-year review? My district currently offers a virtual academy where your pay is on the same scale as in person teachers. So back in July I went out for a new position at my small company that was rapidly expanding (Account Manager). Was notified that I didn't get the full promotion but was told instead that I was still moving up and was going to be Customer Service/Account Manager Support. The new Account Manager had no customer service experience within our niche industry. I instead had to help help him with all customer service issues.
