That will last until you get a job, but in the meantime I recommend you see a therapist, depression starts with things like that. Take care of yourself.
Don't feel like you're the only one going through this, many of us have been there. The most important thing is that you don't lose your focus and keep trying until you get to where you want to be.
Hey, I suffered from that because I went from being super stressed with my thesis to being totally free and without a job, it took me 1 year to get a job but now that I have it and I am calmer I feel that everything was due to my negativity and that I was depressed and it was hard for me to accept that. I invite you to keep trying, you will soon get a job, but it is still necessary to keep active in something else, can you look for a job that is not linked to your career? If so, try it while you are waiting for the right job.
For me, it was important to have a support system. I talked to my family and friends about how I was feeling, and they were all very supportive. I also found a therapist who could help me work through my depression. It was a long process, but eventually I started to feel better.
One day at a time, but I admit that some days are harder than others. Sometimes I wake up feeling great and motivated and as if nothing can stop me and other days I just want to crawl up into a hole and never come out. I've found a lot of comfort in cooking healthy meals for myself and making some visits to the therapist.
I found success by bringing more discipline into my life. I cut out like 90% of junk food, eat nutritious meals, work out every day, and I make a point to spend a few hours of quality time with my wife every day. It's the little things that add up every day that can help you get out of a rut
This is completely normal and something that needs to be talked about way more. After reaching a goal, sometimes a goal that has been worked towards for over a decade, it's sort of like....what now? What's next? There is this terrifying emptiness on the other side of reaching a goal where a part of your identity is gone and you have to find your purpose all over again. Be kind to yourself, talk to a therapist if you can, and expose yourself to new things. Travel, meet different people, try new activities.
