FactSet hi, does anyone have experience working for FactSet in Norwalk, CT? How is the culture like? Are they promoting from within? Turnover? Benefits? Pay? Work-life balance? I’m applying for an investment type role and taking a job with them would require relocation. Anything that you can share is much appreciated, thanks!

I got a call from the Google recruiter about my L7 em interview Google She said I did overwhelmingly good on all interviews except one had mixed feedback on a system design. No surprise because it was not a good interview. The recruiter said i had a choice to go to hiring committee, give referrals they could call about my system design or take another system design interview. I’m not confident about the system design because of the bad experience I had with the previous interviewer. What should I do?

I've had good experiences with Randstad, especially with contract/temp. to FT contracts. If it's a FT role, applying via the company site may be a bit better. But having a recruiter working on your behalf does have some benefit, since may corp. HR ppl. can be overwhelmed by the volumes of applicants. But it also depends a lot on the recruiter you are working with - that's where I was very fortunate, my Randstad recruiter was excellent and understood my field (UX) and my regional market/her territory very well.
Can you give me a bit of advice on how to approach the recruiter on Randstad? I have never used the platform.
I had a recruiter reach out to me via LinkedIn, but I'm sure if you go to their website there is a way to enter in your experience and resume and create a profile. This page includes some engineering role categories/links further down on the page:

I’ve noticed the same - recruiting platforms can feel like extra friction. They’re useful for exposure, but often it’s slower and less direct than applying straight through the company portal. I usually treat them as a backup channel rather than the main route.
