🐠 how do you follow-up with a recruiter on next steps if they don't respond to your emails? For context the interview with the hiring manager went really well and they moved me to the last round but recruiter has gone MIA (it's been 3 weeks). Is it ok to directly email/inmail the HM?

I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?

I've been exploring exit opportunities for a few months and still holding out for the right opportunity. However, I've had A LOT of recruiters reach out to me for positions that are way below my current salary. They do the whole "your background and expertise is exactly what we're looking for" then turn around and offer a salary range that is 20k below my current level. My resume clearly says I've got 10yrs experience and an MBA. I **don't think* I should be getting offers of 80k-100k
