How do you get better at System Design Interviews? I'm gonna start with those and I'm really at a loss when I see questions like Design Uber, etc. While I can design a basic system well, something complex like Design Google Maps completely throws me off

Work at a start up. I'm not kidding. When you work at a company like Intuit you don't really see the full picture and the scope you own is sooooo small that you don't fully comprehend how all the moving pieces interact. In a start up you're responsible for almost everything so you'll get a lot of exposure. You could probably get enough exposure with 1 year of working there depending on how senior you are already.

What is it like working at a fintech company? Is the salary at a fintech company typically higher than other tech jobs? It'll be higher than gamedev, but just wanted to learn about whether the pressure will be worth it eventually etc.

Hi All,

I recently interviewed for Amazon's Analytics Manager Role - L6 and have 10.5 years experience. What is the fixed and CTC that I can expect for this role?

So I'm in a weird space at the moment. I've been interviewing with a lot of agencies in the past couple of months, and I keep getting the same response of "I need more agency experience." How am I supposed to get that experience if one of the things holding me back is not having enough agency experience?

I’m interviewing for a marketing manager role at a company based in SF. I’m genuinely excited about the role and the company but we’ve yet to discuss salary. I expect to be asked at some point, but my research has given me a VERY broad range. So I’m here to do a bit more research. I’ve got 5 very relevant years of experience and will have an associate manager directly reporting to me. Are there any marketers out there who can share their salaries in similar regions and experience levels?
