How do you manage / handle unrealistic goals set by your CEO? Our CEO has set a goal of "becoming a household name" and I find that very vague on how it will actually happen.

The company has been around for 25 years so it seems unrealistic to chase this after being around for so long. It feels like an unatainable goal for a marketing team.

As a first year - if you like working with a particular partner a lot, is it a good idea to just volunteer for all the work they have for you to do, or is it better to try to get a balance of different work from the practice group? Not trying to come off like Incrediboy.

My company contracts a web developer, we have a set amount of hours for the quarter and pay over if more work is needed.
He never gets anything done. Doesn’t answer emails half the time. The one thing he’s done was take out a blurb that threatened our eligibility for patent renewal.

But every time I go into a meeting with a new client, they ignore everything I say. They just want to talk about their product. They don't seem interested in learning how to market it better.
