I'm not terribly emotionally invested. I'm comfortable where I'm at, compensated fairly and enjoy good work-life balance that allows me to leave work at work. No complaints.
I would say I'm very emotionally invested in my career. I chose it based on hobbies and interests I'd like to be paid to do. I could go either way on the emotional investment. To me, that depends on my customer/ employer and my freedom to control my daily schedule while doing work that both gets be excited to get out of bed and provides a healthy balance with family time.
I'm more emotionally invested than I would like to be. I get really worked up over how things progress and the level of engagement by others in the workplace because it directly impacts me. But the reason I care so much about my career because my paycheck directly effects how I take care of my family. My health would benefit from being less emotionally invested.
I’m pretty invested. I lead a team of engineers so I kinda have to show that I care.
