How has your industry been using AI ?

My wallet got stolen month and a half ago its worth 700K today .... By the way money invested was 10K only.

Was disappointed for couple days because it was my mistake for not paying attention to the scammers.

Back in the market and recovered the losses and money invested, isnt this an amazing bull market!!

By the way im not rich so that money would have gave me a life change.

I currently have 5.5 Ipa package in LTI working hear from starting of my career having Total 3 years of experience in Data Analytics field. Skills Tableau, SQL, Python. I also have done post graduate deploma in ML and Al from IIIT BANGLORE while working. I have notice period of 3 months. And this will be my first switch.I want to switch in MNC's like TCS, Accenture, Infosys, wipro, Capgemini, Etc. in pune with Tableau and SQL and Python as core skills. Can you please reffer me.

Is it irrational for me to get an “ick” for this?

I went on a “date” recently. I paid for the tab as they were going to the bathroom. As we were leaving they said “thanks for lunch” — I was hoping they’d at least ask to Venmo me half as a kind gesture. Following lunch we grabbed dessert. I was hoping they’d offer to cover dessert since I covered lunch but it didn’t happen.

I am fine w/ paying but I was hoping the gesture would at least be presented… am I crazy?

I’ve been working in finance strategy / transformation consulting for the last two years and would like to pivot into construction project management. Looking to get some insights of if something like this is even feasible or if anyone else has done something similar.

I’m so burned out and not sure what to do. 29 in Texas. I am currently a Deli Manager. My experience is in banking, real estate, shipping and receiving, caregiving and the obvious retail. Unfortunately I struggle getting a job due to a deferred adjudication on my record for theft. It was dismissed but it still pops up I have 4 more years before I can seal the record. Idk what I could do and still make a living.

Is it possible to transition from Sales Manager to consulting. Currently making around 100k per year and would like to make a move and potentially make 20-30% more. For context, I have been at my current organization for 4 years and have grown my teams annual revenue from 1,000,000 to over 4,000,000 primarily through improving the culture, processes, and quality

What do you all think is the upper limit range for someone in an account manager role at a tech firm? What’s the career path? Was there anything you’ve done in terms of upskilling that resulted in increased pay? Or should I just pick something else if I want to be making more than what I make atm ~150k TC with 6 years exp.

Hello I am looking to pivot careers. I’ve worked in warehousing, shipping and logistics my entire life. I don’t have much experience else where. How do I find the right move to make?

I have an informational interview with a director of a consulting firm. I’m currently in banking. It’s just been 6 months at this job for me. It’s too slow for me. How do I tell this director why I want to work with him and justify why I want to leave my current firm just after 6 months? I’m an analyst and the role I’m targeting is also analyst level role

How valid do you think a Myers briggs test is for determining if a career pivot is the right move. I recently took one and the career suggestions from the results seemed to be things I was already thinking about doing anyway which was a pleasant surprise.

How did you go about finding a therapist and/or coach to support you in your career transition? What value did they add, what would you do same/different if you had the time again and any other tips?

Pivoting away from Sales: I’ve been in sales positions for 15 years, and I’m just exhausted by the role (disputing commissions, arguing about deals, all of it). I have a degree in marketing, but I am having a hard time landing interviews since I’ve never had a strictly marketing only role. Can anyone provide any advice, or has anyone successfully moved away from sales?

Anyone struggling with imposter syndrome? When I worked for a very well known Fortune500 tech company I couldn't help but feel major imposter syndrome. One- I am a woman in a male dominated industry, I didn't go to a prestigious school like most of my peers and I just didn't think I deserved to be there. Everyday was a struggle and tried to keep myself small so no one would find out I was a "fraud." Looking back on it now, wiser and more experienced, I realized how detrimental feeling that way
