This sounds awfully low compared to industry standard unless I’m missing something.
Note a manger at A&M makes in the range of $220K to $300K, based on utilization.
Don’t know the range for associate but generally speaking low base and very high bonus. That’s the comp model at A&M. Bonus is directly correlated to your utilization.
When you say very high bonus what is the indicative % you are thinking of? 30-40% or greater?
PEPI SA base comp tops at 120, but bonuses can be 40% plus and it’s not a bs bonus target - very achievable.
Associate = commercial restructuring division or PEPI. The division REALLY matters for comp at A&M, as each division sets their own comp policy. For basic Corp Perf Impr, bonus base is 25% of base; 40% is usual max, and is rare.
For PEPI it’s different. You get a percentage of your collections. For example you work 2000 hours in a year. Your total comp = X%*(2000*rate to client). The X% varies by level. For Manager it’s 25% to 32%. So your bonus = Total comp - base salary.
What does PEPI SA stand for?
Associate is the post MBA role right?
I really don’t think it’s that different compared to OW. Source: I have friends who work at both(a&m in PEPI)
OW Associate comp goes upto 160k, this looks like 130k-140k best case. Interesting how they attract talent...
And ow is at the lower end of the market spectrum at Associate.
Senior Associate is the post mba role and pays 160 on the low end with 200+ possible . With manager in 215-275k range based on what I’ve heard. Again this is group specific comp.
AP1 - Sounds right for PEPI
if you are busy... you can make more than 100% of your salary. I've done it 3 out of my last 7 years here
