In my career I have seen people who suck at technical role move to Scrum master.
If you are doing fine at current role, don’t consider moving to scrum master role. It is gonna be obsolete soon.

Is there a reason why do you want to transition into business roles ? Because scrum master and product owners are higher level management roles but less demanding roles , not all companies follows agile or scrum process

Scrum master role is just a useless role. People with no technical knowledge choose it

If you are already a scrum master there will be demand for you in near future.. and the scrum master pool is over crowded already...
But if you are looking to start fresh as a scrum master, you will have a lot of people already in that pool...
Technical or techno functional roles will always have demand.. Is there any specific reason you want to move away from tech role to non tech role ?
I believe I can do much better with my interpersonal and communication skills than being an avg developer. And however one day every developer has to transition from tech to business or management role, so I thought why not now
