I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY
Any idea of the promotion and bonus 😅in EY

I got a pay raise going from Accenture to Slalom actually
Nope, I was C&M in Accenture Digital in one of the highest COL city on the West Coast. Relatively young and healthy so I picked the cheapest high deductible health plan at Accenture, and even their HSA allowances were worse than Slalom.
I’m not saying Slalom is all sunshine and rainbows, but just pointing out Accenture vs. Slalom facts that I noticed after I made the move.
Me too 🤑
Smgrs at acn make more.
Mgrs are a toss up between the two.
Bonus is about 6-8%. Pretty much guaranteed.
401k blows.
Healthcare only has one option, acn's is a bit better of you visit chiropractors
Work varies, sometimes you will do work that is much cooler than accenture. Other times straight staff aug.
Hours are pretty mellow.
Co workers are much more skilled tech wise, much worse consulting skills wise
No a- holes over here
^^^actually, regarding health insurance, I pay less now at Slalom than I did at Accenture for a comparable plan.
C1, let me guess: you were a CD&O in mid-tier city who picked the costliest insurance option during enrollment
Slalom is a lot whiter than ACN
...following
Salary 👎, Work life 👍 - AFAIK
*Short-term salary 👍 overall compensation 👎 long-term salary👎
Damn C1, maybe we have wrong info. This is interesting
Also, 401k is 50% match up to 6% which is the same as ACN when I joined. ACN has since improved but that doesn’t exactly “blow,” or is “a joke."
SC1, you must have some sort of sample bias going on when it comes to raises. My raises the past few years were 8%, 18%, and then 15% - those were pretty normal raises. ACN has full 401k matching up to 6%, so basically double Slalom
I think Slalom is great from what I hear tho 😁
Yes. But we have a lot more women in the firm and also in leadership positions
A4 is correct. They get less vacation, health insurance cost more, 401K is a joke. Their raises and bonuses are on par with ACN
I have never seen a bonus under 10% in 5 years at Slalom. My raises have always been 6-10%. Idk anyone at Accenture (including myself) who can say that
SC2, you sure about that? Our North America CEO (Julie Sweet) is a women and so are 47 percent of her direct reports
A lot of our offices have women in leadership positions. I know some offices were 60% of all leaders are women.
Im not saying everywhere....but we are doing great
Anyone know what the range for manager is at slalom on the west coast?
Do you work from home often at Slalom? Or are you expected to be onsite every week or going into the office? Any work from home weeks? Does it vary by practice?
