How is WFH working out for different departments? And how many people are actually looking forward to it ?

Looking for a fully remote job! I previously worked as a Care Coordinator with a hybrid schedule but that started becoming more demanding on f2f with clientele. I’d like something different than care coordination but still stay within the field. BA in psychology with 10 years experience working with Developmental and behavioral health. I’ve been searching for something and have yet to find anything aside from coordination! Any recommendations are appreciated!

Colleague has put in his resignation. They are offering him whatever he wants to stay including 4days a week work from home. He’s not bluffing and plans to leave. However, at this same time I was asked to begin working as a supervisor for the engineering team and I would get a promotion at the beginning of the year. When a role says “Remote, LOCATION” on the job description, must you live in that LOCATION and work remotely or does it mean that your home office will be that LOCATION?

I’m curious about a trend I am seeing: I like to think I’ve well documented my abilities and functions in my CV, as well as my portfolio. I’ve noticed that for some of these jobs that I can check every single box in the job description, I won’t even get an interview. I’m wondering if many of these jobs are posted for internal hires, but some stay open for weeks. What gives?

My parent has a star health policy for which the renewal premium is drastically increasing (almost by 50%) every year at age 51.
With such increase I do not think it will be viable for long term. So planning to switch/port.
