I am not ok.
I am working as a software engineer for 2 years. And work on two companies including my current organization. First one was a micro-scale startup where they don't provide any payslips or PF at all.
I got a referral for Accenture from this group. Today an HR called and told me because of not having the payslips and PF deductions from my fist company, they cannot proceed with my profile. What is happening in this field all of a sudden?
Can anyone give it a bit elaboration?

Accenture - interviewing for Asset Management - Consultant. Coming from industry, made it onto ‘Skills Interview’ website makes it out to be an in-depth resume review. Any additional info on the process. Also, any tips moving forward in interview process, especially given industry - consulting transition. Thanks!
Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.

A lot of it is common sense and thinking before you speak. Being from IB I assume you can do basic math quickly in your head, so I would start with some videos and articles to understand what good casing looks like, then run drills on Rocketblocks. If you’re interviewing with McK definitely look up the expectations for the PEI part of the interview section and spend time prepping for that, it’s not easy to improvise and it’s as important as the case.
I did 10 cases in a week and got an offer from McKinsey! You can do it! DM me to chat
You're not screwed. Ask HR for someone from the firm to case with. They can give you targeted feedback. Don't bother with friends or fam unless they're actual consultants.
McK cases are different than Bain or BCG so look on our website if you're interviewing for us. There are 3 example cases there that are really helpful.
Do a case or two, ID weaknesses, do targeted drills for those weaknesses (e.g., initial structure is hard but mental math is fine? Just do 3 case openings), then do a full case again.
You can totally do this! IB people I know at the firm do well
I really appreciate it!
Probably going to be pretty tough for you
To be ready for a Tier 1/2 strategy shop, it generally takes ~35 practice cases, 30min case and 30min debrief, barring any outside preparation on frameworks, math, or brainstorming. I second the use of Rocketblocks for prep.

People in bschool def do 30 or more
Depends. Personally, it took me maybe 80 cases to feel comfortable. I came from a non traditional background. I think those with MBA probably fare better.
How much do you want this specific job? If you want it very badly I would suggest
1) Asking to reschedule to a later date. Assuming you’re still in IB I think you can convincingly come up with a half-truth about workload to delay your internal and get more time
2) Paying to do live cases with a reputable interview coach. You don’t need to do that many practice cases - you just need targeted practice based on good quality feedback.
3) Use this experience to think about whether you want to apply to other firms
