How many of you quit accounting after passing the CPA exam?

Applying to roles within the same federal agency. I know you need one year within the probationary period, but can I apply to a higher GS level? For example, if I'm GS 9, receive a promotion to GS 11 at the end of probation, would i be able to apply to GS 13 roles if I'm qualified? Tried researching this for hours but only found info on applying to other agencies.

I’m been working at Moody’s for 4 years as a credit analyst, if my goal is to get into high finance (HF, AM, VC, etc), will an MBA help, or is it not necessary?

Hi Fishes, need your help here. I have been in TCS for 3.5 years now in Ignio support team for an E&R account. I aspire to work in BigData technologies so took release from the project this month. I have been preparing myself through Udemy but don't have any hands-on experience in BigData. Reporting to RMG currently but got just 1 relevant call from a project. Unfortunately, they were looking for an experienced person. Will I be considered in any account for a fresher role in BigData?

Solid Post-MBA EU high finance programs? Currently at a top MBA program in the EU, but it seems Post-MBA recruiting is much less prominent in the EU. It seems like most positions require similar experience pre-MBA, which I do not have.

Posted this in the Kpmg bowl but I’m an associate almost two years in in Digital Lighthouse and Intelligent Automation and the only training and projects I have been on are Appian based. I’m worried I have boxed myself in by only having projects with Appian. I am wondering if Appian is desirable in the marketplace if I were to look for new jobs? Should I try to get into more rpa Blue Prism/Ui Path? Are those better for my future career opportunities?

I’m feeling really nervous about my upcoming test, AUD. I’ve felt nervous about the others I took as well obviously but for some reason with AUD I feel really bad about it. I’m having a hard time focusing on studying and I feel like I’m not absorbing the info. Did anyone feel like this? I almost feel worse about AUD than I did when I took FAR. Maybe I’m just burnt out and need a break, but I feel like I need to just push through and finish all the tests.
