I’m interviewing with a startup and the range has a 40k difference from the lowest to highest point. It’s also pre-seed and comes with equity, and health, 401k benefits. It’s a director of sales role so I would eventually be recruiting and managing a team along with building the processes and strategy. What would you consider a fair compensation package? If they offer me something on the lower end of the range, is it still appropriate to counter with an offer that is over their stated range?

Interviewing with a startup and they’d like me to do a presentation on some of the financial processes I am working/ worked on. What is the best way to present this info that I usually do in excel? Would a PowerPoint deck be the best approach with the info or a google Sheet?

Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I worked 2m for startup company and absconded due to bitter experience from Jun'21 - July'21 , later immediately joined to another company Aug'21 to present(under notice period). Now I got offer with comcast and will moving on Jan'23. I'm bit worried because I don't have releiving letter for those 2m but all other records are clear with me(includes to company I'm currently serving notice period). I yet to reveal this 2m to my Hr. Should I tell and leave as such, Kindly pour your advice.
