But to confirm: what is your masters in (PwC doesn’t really care about any masters degrees unless it’s a target school MBA), and when you say “~4 years consulting experience”, what kind of consulting and for whom?
Tour average Senior Associates at PwC have 3-5 years of experience.
It would be better to evaluate against what the role requires, which would for most practices be experience leading junior staff, some developing technical expertise, an ability to be a generalist in the practice and of course core consulting skills such as strong communication and writing skills and relationship development.
I was able to get an offer as SA at PwC with 2.5 years exp consulting
SA prob lowest starting point and MBA have highest pay band
4 years of industry experience, no MBA, making 100k @ PwC. MBA def. gets more $$$
