I am a Sales Support Engineer (Applications Engineer) with 2 YOE. I am thinking about making a change because my job is no longer challenging, and there isn’t much growth opportunity in my company. I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?

Deloitte has removed the vaccine requirement to enter the office, but there are still many Deloitte employees who are unvaccinated. Is anyone concerned that we have let these people win? Does anyone feel like we are caving in to the people who refused to comply? Doesn’t this send the wrong message? If they know they can just wait it out, won’t they be incentivized to do that again when the next pandemic comes?

Work in consulting division of acct firm making $88K base as senior associate 1. Interviewing with boutique consulting firm who has “competitive comp” and “typically more than Big4”. Is $105k high?
