Everyone I have heard getting Covid recently has been vaxed and boosted, including This guy named Dr Fauci. So I would check your “science” before condemning people with a blanket statement.
If you want to do some research, watch how “follow the science” really means “follow the money” in America.

Why do you assume everyone who chose against getting the vaccine made that choice only out of blind stubbornness?
Thats just one of OPs many questionable assumptions and dogmatically held but unfounded beliefs. Some others:
- that the shots actually prevent infection or transmission
- that the pandemic and shot uptake is an us versus them issue
- that the problem is “them”
- that getting “them” to obey is a valid objective
- that the “right” course of action is so clearly and firmly established as correct and the solution and the wrong action (not getting shots) is so clearly dangerous and the problem that coercion, control, ostracism, etc should be self-righteously employed
- that there is no good reason for refusing the shots and the refusers are necessarily motivated by some combination of blindly stupid stubbornness, ignorance, anti-reason, anti-science, selfishness, or whatever
How many vaccine doses did fauci and Kamala have and they still got Covid? The answer is 4. A vaccine from almost two years ago no longer works just as the flu shot is annual. But then again the boosters aren’t really working either. Stop judging people for vaccine choices. If you’re so scared, put on 4 masks while walking outside

When the next pandemic comes in 100 years, we will all be dead. I think we can all realize now that regardless of whether you are vaccinated or not you will probably still get Covid at some point and regardless of whether you are vaccinated or not it will be a crapshoot how it affects you. And regardless of how many people are vaccinated or not immuno compromised people will still get Covid and probably die.

I see the loosening of vaccine requirements (at least in NYC) as more going on the theory that enough people are vaccinated at this point to control future spread. If people are concerned for themselves they can take extra precautions or stay home.

Regardless of vaccination status, everyone is getting this latest round of Covid. It’s now presenting like the common cold. In fact, studies are starting to show (like the one Walgreens did, for reference), that vaccinated individuals are testing positive for Covid at a higher rate than any other group. Go outside and build up your immunity and move on with your life.
Haven’t we basically seen time and time again the the vaccine is ineffective? It doesn’t prevent transmission at all, just “lessons the symptoms”. If you are worried, wear a mask.
One of the only vaccines that not only doesn’t prevent the virus it is for, it also doesn’t prevent spread by those vaccinated by it… yeah “they” are the problem….
I have employees who have been 2x vaxxed and boosted- all of them have had Covid more than the those who are unvaccinated- and typically I have to send them home from work as they come in with “mild symptoms” and think it’s fine because they’re vaxxed?
I don’t understand the OP’s attempt to vilify? If you are vaxxed aren’t you “protected?” The almighty our lord and savior Tony Fauci swore you were???
When individuals who are not vaccinated come into contact with the virus, there’s a higher likelihood that not only that they get it but that they have a severe reaction to it and anytime you get it and it is not suppressed because of antibodies or vaccines, there’s a chance that it mutates. That mutation could be harmful even to individuals who are vaccinated. Therefore unvaccinated individuals in society pose a risk to in the entire society because the virus has a higher likelihood of spreading and mutating.
Your authoritarianism is showing. None of your science religion works in case you haven't seen the numbers. It no longer prevents hospitalization etc of you look at what's happening globally, in fact, vaccinated individuals are more likely to be hospitalized than non. Also, perhaps you put your head in the sand with your rush to compliance and didn't read the last 3 Pfizer doc releases and understand the lsck of efficacy of their solution.

Over 2 years into the pandemic, neither my husband nor I ever got covid, despite not getting the vaccine. We did however, exercise regularly, eat plenty of fruits and veggies, get sunlight, etc. every single friend that got the vaccine still got COVID or a “rare” health complication. And you still think it’s all about us “refusing to comply” 🙄 it’s amazing you people would rather us lose our jobs than use our own prevention methods for a virus with 99% survival rate
You forgot to add the word "failed" in front of "vaccine". If you do that, you will see the reason that many people "refused to comply".
It is not a matter of "letting these people win" - it is a matter of actual facts, data, and science becoming clear as opposed to political pressures and narratives.
The government and corporate overreach when it came to the COVID response was grossly immoral and unethical.
And your insistence on demonizing those who exercised their human rights and made their own decisions is part of the problem.
