How much "free" time do you have during an average work day? And is it me due to the structure of your role or lack of work?

I have 2 offers from Capgemini and Hexaware from Pune location(6.2 yrs of experience).
The CTC difference is not much . My tech stack is vmware, vRA,vRO.
Capgemini - Professional ll/ B2 position
Hexaware -System Analyst at G5
Could anyone suggest me which one to join in terms of
-Growth and opportunities,
- What would be hikes for these annually,
- Work life balance.

Hi fishies! Considering an internal big 4 move from Western Europe to Dubai. Not sure about WLB and whether there’ll be enough growth and learning opportunities after reading some of the threads here. Anyone up for sharing their experience? Especially concerned about sexism / racism as a WOC…and whether moving back to Europe in a few years will be difficult because the ME experience won’t be considered valuable.

Do any investing team roles work like 40 to 45 hours a week, thinking VC or Growth Equity. I enjoyed the work, but can't see 70 hour weeks

With my wife for 14 years, 2 kids under 8y - both under a lot of pressure bc Covid/work/private life/… and have been (unconsciously) running away from our couple not working “since a long time” (dixit my wife). We want to try and fix it, but I also met someone new (not sure if she would even want me) and wondering if it’s worth fixing it (since we are trying/running/avoiding it for years) - just worried about the kids…any advice

Considering a move to UAE and Inhave to major questions:
- How is the SC work life balance?
- I am coming from Europe, is there a big cultural shock?

1. what kind of technologies are used in Data Engineering projects in ANZ? Do they work with open source frameworks like Pandas, Pyspark etc. Or everything is done using their internal tools?

2. And is there any opportunity of internal project switch after 12-15 months if I want to work in some different tech stack?

For people who have gone from PA to industry, how do you combat “being bored”.. I do 20-25 hrs/week and I feel like I’m not learning. I really do appreciate the extra time to be with family and get chores done, but I feel like I’m not learning/progressing. Have you made the switch back to PA?

Been feeling very low for a very long time. Working with a Big Four for 7+ years (since graduation) and was excited to join consulting as I get easily bored, wanted to grow at an exponential scale and wanted to travel for work. Cut to now, though I am well sought after for my skills and consistently got 25%+ bonus, I feel I have achieved nothing cuz I didn't get the promotions that I worked for, people have been chosen over me for overseas travel and destroyed my social life. Venting only! :)

Can anyone describe Amazon’s culture for an associate corporate counsel,based on team? I’ve read a number of comments on this app and across the internet about the company in general but the individuals never specify what team they’re referring to. I’ve heard from two corp counsel that AWS doesn’t have the best WLB but Prime Video does. I’d be interested to hear what this bowl has to add.
