How much notice should I give? I am a director of accounting at a $250mil private company. My boss, the CFO has only been with the company for 5 months and is still learning the company. She has not made much progress. The manager below me is near retirement.

I informally accepted a position at Silicon Valley Bank, after attempting to negotiate a higher wage, the recruiter advised this wasn't a possibility. However, while completing the background check I received another offer from Wells Fargo. The SVB position most aligns with my career objectives but the Wells Fargo position pays more (13k difference). I want the SVB position however I would like to leverage the Wells Fargo position to negotiate a higher salary. Any suggestions on strategy?
