How much stock should I receive or ask for if the company is valued at $1.5 billion and I’m offered $130k base salary?

As an accounting manager, none

likesmart

Why? The company gives stock options to entry level too

Honestly you should ask for a pay reduction

likefunnysmart

If its your bonus then somewhere between 15-25% of your base hopefully

like

probably none until your title begins with a "C"

Controller?

1 Billion

Options are worthless unless the value of the company goes up. RSUs should always be the goal when equity comp is offered. At a manager level, expect 15-20% of your comp. At a director level, 30%.

Also, is the company public or private?

Companies like Amazon usually offer options to everybody in corporate roles to keep cash compensation down. But the options can pay well when the stock moves quickly.

All of it

Damn alright guys 🤣

It could though in structuring

Update they offered me an equity plan instead of stock options 🙂‍↕️ passing it up

$15-30k I would say

Just want to cry out here.🙃

I'm not good at my tech stack. I've somehow managed to perform all my tasks without any escalation/blunders but that also by some help/googling.
I also managed to switch from an Indian mnc to a reputed company and now also somehow cleared a FAANG interview, but i know I'm not much knowledgeable in my tech .

I often fail at some interviews badly.
Not sure till when I'll be able to carry forward by this and the hard wlb at FAANG companies is giving me a fear.
