Hi fishes, can anyone from Impetus tell me how much yearly hike is given by the company. I have offer from another company which is paying 3 lakhs more plus 1 lakh joining bonus. But their yearly hikes are almost negligible (3-5%). I plan to stay long with my next company (min 3 years). So if impetus can offset the ctc after couple of year I will go there. Please help! With the current market boom, what should be MINIMUM pay for 5 year Fullstack developer (java+react). Ps: while I know that there can be several other factors as well in order to answer this question, I am looking for market standard. Like: Yoe*3/4/5 or something like that. Before covid, it used to be Yoe*2.5 which was considered as good package. Target companies: Big4, WITCHA (And not FAANG, OR Walmart, etc) :) Deloitte PwC Tata Consultancy Cognizant EY Accenture

Travel is client dependent. If you aren’t traveling, you can work from home
Travel for the moment is all based on “practitioner preference,” meaning you input in the system if you prefer 100% remote/no travel, low travel, medium, or high. As another poster said, also check with project teams before you accept a role on a project. I recently ended a project and of the 7 projects I was looking at for my next one, only 1 had any travel expected and it was for 3 workshops over the next few months. Pre-omicron, I did go to some in-person social events but have only been to the office one time since I joined last summer. I work completely remotely from my home and that has been the case for just about everyone I’ve worked with as well.
Travel is client dependent, but right now not many are traveling. Check before you’re staffed!
The role I accepted said up to 80% travel, but the interview process made it clear that was not the real expectation. I'm traveling as needed. Have seen my client every few weeks and have had a practice-level colocation as well as in person training and a practice leadership off site week. In the past 12 weeks, I've had four travel weeks, but I only have one travel week coming in the near future. All travel has been optional, though the face time with clients and partners has definitely been useful, in my opinion.
Feel free to DM me if you want to chat. I have been with the firm for five months and have very much enjoyed myself.
maybe dial up the chairman and get to the bottom of these questions.
