Give him a nice gift card that you’ve already used. He won’t know until long after he moves
This happened to me as a wedding present! I wanted to call out my cousin so bad but my parents told me not to
Right answer is you follow him to the next town.
Other answer is $100 or 100%.
I’d give him no tip since he’s leaving
I’d give him a solid $100 for the last one
$100
100%
I’d give a nice gift. Something for under 100. Maybe a monogram apron or something
$100. Most people dont do anything extra… so he’ll probably be stoked for the $100
Why give him “a tip” when you can give him “the tip”?? 🧐
100-150
Cost of haircut plus 20%
Correct. Thats his job and its his decision to move
$100, or a really nice $50-100 bottle of wine/whisky (if appropriate for the person). To me a tip says “you did a great job” but a gift seems more appropriate for a “thank you for all these years etc…”
$100
$100 or 100%
$100
100
I would do $100 and a gift as a token of appreciation for the 7 years
There's nothing like a good/trustworthy barber. Been with my current barber for well over 15yrs, and I currently give him $60 for a $30 haircut. Even when we moved 25miles away from Boston, I still go to him. If he's not too far, I would stay with him, it's nice to just sit in the chair and start chatting without having to say anything regarding your cut.
$100 and whatever else they need, depending on how well I know them and what they need. Depends on how voluntary this move is.
I gradually lost my great stylist. The location transformed from a $800/mo apartment kind of place to a $1M+ condo kind of place in a really short period of time, and most of the great people in service roles moved in a mass, quite abrupt diaspora.
