How long is too long to try to push back a start date? Getting a formal offer early next week but trying to keep that big law bonus if possible. Firm pays out bonuses Dec 30 & I have a vacation scheduled Dec 19-23 (and was planning on working remotely the week after too). Ideally want to get EOY bonus or negotiate for a signing bonus but is it too much to push for signing bonus and those weeks off? I'm open to working remotely those two weeks but know that may not be the best when I start.

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. I need your advice here, I have recently cleared the bloomreach interview and from very begining of the processes I have informed them about the offer I already had.
I have a offer of value : X amount base +50 k variable.

Even After sharing that offer breakup they have shared their offer as below:
Base : X - 4 + 5% variable and 6 L joining bonus.
I don't think it's right decision to accept this one as I already have an offer of X amount which is 4 L

Pls give me some tips of nego..

I have an offer in hand from MakeMyTrip 20 L fixed + 2L joining bonus. I have a verbal offer from ola electric 20L fixed + 2L joining bonus + 2L variable pay. Ninjacart is yet to make me an offer and they asked me for the offer letter in hand. I'm waiting for ola's offer letter so that ninjacart will make an offer on top of that. But ola is willingly not sending me the offer letter soon. I plan to join MMT finally by making them match the highest offer. How to leverage this situation better?
