How to calculate TC?
I work as an MBB consultant outside NA and want to compare my TC to NA TC.
Our salary is structured a bit differently, please tell me what goes into TC calc:
1) Base salary.
2) Social security pay (employer's part on top of base salary).
3) Pension deposits (similar to 401k).
4) Yearly bonus.
5) Vacation days (paid days off).
6) Different perks: cell device and plan, helath insurance, gym membership, daily food spend, etc.

Do I include it all in TC?

What would u do? 3 YOE HCOL city and I have 2 potential options:
1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.

Question on entering consulting. Worked for a non-profit for six years, entered healthcare tech last year as a CSM, and just got an offer from a life sciences consulting firm. My hope is to eventually get into more broad strategy consulting (MBB or big 4, have connections at both). Would working at a more boutique firm limit or help in the long run? I don’t want to be in life sciences forever but figured it could be a good launchpad into consulting. I’m 30 so not old, but also not young.
