Hi Fishes, I had an offer from TCS 10 lpa for the role of Test Automation Engineer and I have asked for 15 lpa fixed from amdocs . However they have a proposed fixed CTC of 12.5 lpa .How do i negotiate it.Can I ask for 13.5 lpa?Amdocs Ps-I have an experience of 3.8 years

Never ruin the best offer (if you had formally accepted it) by trying to renegotiate, they can even revoke the offer saying that you are too ambitious
P.S. Best offer is not the best CTC, think of WLB, location, travel, onsite options and work culture, stability, variable payout % and frequency, annual appraisal etc.
It's possible that one company may be offering you a high CTC but zero or even negative WLB, that will make you regret
And remember, dont fall for retention offer from current employer even if it surpasses every other offer at hand, that's gonna backfire you at a later stage and you would regret immensely
