How to take advantage of per diem budget? eg, Amazon gift cards from Cvs, Starbucks gift cards etc. Also is it allowed and these transactions be tracked by the firm?

We all know about EY’s egregious lunch policy that makes no sense. Wanted to hear about other expense policies at other firms! Anyone really like their expense policy? What would you change?

Is a $25k pay bump enough to move to EY? I’m debating if it’s worth leaving my current company where we get per diem (extra income if you spend smart) vs. Going to EY where you submit actuals.

I graduated in May 2020 and found myself excepting a Junior Art Director position in Healthcare. I never saw myself in health but with many agencies having hiring freezes I decided to get some experience and save up some money in the meantime. Fast forward one year; I’ve added a new campaign to my website and I’m starting to apply to consumer agencies again.  Any tips to help me make the transition? Any place to avoid? To con't the conversation on engagement rings💍 - what do they symbolize to you? My BF and I got into a discussion about this last night. What does the Investor Relations career path look like for someone coming in at an early-ish level? I’ve heard it’s kind of dead-end and doesn’t really teach you any hard skills but pretty easy, especially if you can produce a decent track record of fundraising. Also, I’ve heard comp is ok and typically lower than consulting (and WAY lower than the investment teams…) and mostly concentrated among the top dogs. Accurate? Anyone know people who took this path?
