Layoffs/Rolloffs/JobPressure aplenty at FANGG will see a flood of TechBros applying come round 3 (maybe even round 2)?

Investment Banking deal flows are drier than the Aral Sea, and layoffs/jobinsecurities will be rising there to? Not sure if they'll be ready for Round 2, but Round 3 is going to be even worse than usual?

Consultings a weird one where things seem strong despite hiring dropping sharply. Maybe that rush will be next year?

If an employee mentions something disparaging or accusatory about their manager during an exit interview, how would you handle? What happens if what the employee said is slanderous and a “he said/she said” situation? I.e. employee claimed the manager made a disparaging remark about an item of clothing being worn by someone in accordance with their beliefs. If you opt to share the feedback with the manager, would the manager have a legal case against the company or former employee?

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school
