Off topic alert ! I am posting this here because I want inputs from people in the US, UK etc. I am from India - a b. Pharm. + mba ! I have worked for 8 yrs in business research. Curious how to transition into PE firms and if MBA would be beneficial at all. Currently been in M&A tax (doing tax DD, structuring and modeling) at a big 4 serving PE clients for ~4.5 years and up for manager. Feel tax is not as important in deals and want to get to the front end. I’m a CPA and plan on studying CFA as well. Appreciate any feedback/advice, thank you!!
