Any great resume-writer recos? I need help!
After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Raising a kid absolutely counts! You should add it to your resume as your most recent position. You know how to multitask, prioritize various tasks, be organized, deal with a “customer” and so much more! I’m sure you’ll get more specific ideas if you google “how to write stay at home mom on resume”. Don’t sell yourself short or discount your experience!!!
Try working with a temp agency (make sure to vet them thoroughly and find one that specializes in the type of placements you are looking for). They usually give you skills tests and then place you in temp or temp to perm jobs. That can give you experience to add to your resume and a temp to perm job could lead to a permanent job offer. It’s a great way for a company to “test drive” a potential employee without a commitment and a valuable way for you to get recent experience and your foot in the door.
Also are you industry active? Join local HR networking groups/associations. Find ways to network in person this fall. For admin roles take online Microsoft Office training classes and promote that on resume. Can you do any volunteer admin work? As previously mentioned good to get in contact with local staffing agencies.
You indicate the number of years of relevant work experience and not the actual years. So JOB TITLE/ COMPNY NAME ( 4 years ) instead of 2001-2005.
Remember you simply need to get into the interview, the other details can be revealed when asked.
Did you do any volunteering or PTA involvement? You could include that on your resume. I’d say that will stand out a little more than putting your child rearing responsibilities on your resume. Not that I don’t think raising children is an arduous and challenging job, it’s just not as distinguishable as doing that AND something else— just to set yourself apart from other parents. Unless you’re raising Jesus himself (or the King of Siam or something), while skills are required to raise children, the “job” isn’t that different from other parents who have to do the same thing.
Use the online site, Resume Lab. It gives all kinds of helpful information and the resume layouts will work with the AI software so your resume will get through the AI process and actually to a real person. I used them and signed up for a promotion for $3 a month. It helped me get the job I just signed an intent letter for.
