How would you approach pivoting from strategy consulting to SaaS sales?

Currently an analyst-level consultant working with a client that has an investment banking division. Since I have access to internal systems, could I reach out to bankers for networking from within using those systems? Or would that be too aggressive? lol

3 Things to keep in mind which changing jobs:
1. Always ask dedicated budget for the job before you tell your expectations.

2. Always have atleast 2 weeks of gap before you join any company. You might not understand significance of that but just have a gap.

Match process costs around USD10k; this year he is applying again after borrowing funds frm different sources bt he is under tremendous pressure to get match. Moved to industry recently. I used to feel super guilty and anxious if I stepped away from my computer even for a bit. I had a micromanager prior to my current job which I think is why I still feel guilty if I’m not always online. Even for stepping away for lunch, I make sure I’m always checking my teams app on my phone in case something pops up. But they don’t, because people value their WLB here. How do I stop feeling so anxious or guilty whenever I take some time for myself?

After a year using my home office setup, especially the 27 inch monitor, how can I ever go back to the traveling life with tiny laptop screen? 😔
