Howdy folks, trying to get into the interest world of Salesforce. I’m starting to study fir my first certification of salesforce. I am starting with Administration Certification not sure this is the best one to begin. In your experience how long it take to prepare to take the test. Any recommendations are welcome.

Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. I’ve worked really hard and I’m worried our wonderful news will throw chances with this :(- also if I don’t get promoted pretty sure it’s up or out. Any advice?

Career Sabbatical?

Hi everyone! I’ve been working as a product manager in an internal consulting department at Kaiser Permanente a on software product that maps and automates clinical workflows. Although my title is a consultant, my role entails the usual responsibilities of a PM (prioritizing builds and features, identifying business requirements, mapping user journeys and stakeholder management). Considering taking a position with a small-cap in the US trying to build their legal department. The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. How reasonable is it to ask for a bump in title - Senior counsel or Head of Legal, US? If it matters, I am a 6th year and have been told that I will be expected to hire a junior or paralegal as we build up.

I'm two years into this job where I lateraled, and I need at least one partner to "sponsor" me to have a future with the firm. Some have mentored me here and there, but they seem uninterested in really discussing my prospects for moving up /growing.
