Cash comp targets 80-90th percentile of comps by industry. ESOP adds a ton of value to this, but it’s a long-term play (if you leave it converts to 401K and not cash). I have found my overall comp package to be compelling, and I love the culture, people, and types of engagements.
WM1- I’m going through interviews now, so I have not seen the details of the ESOP package. Are you saying if you leave on year five then the ESOP goes into an IRA of some sort? Assuming it can’t go into a 401K due to cap? Also, this would be post tax, correct...
Thanks in advance!
Can I negotiate to be a remote role instead of relocating?
But they arent super keen on you being outside an office. There are a handful of folks living in remote places, but you essentially have to report to an office location (build culture, accountability, etc).
