I'm applying for a job that wants at least two business or professional references. Thing is my current job is my first job out of college and I don't want them contacting my current employer. Who am I suppose to list as a reference? Leave it blank although they personally asked for references? List college professors? Ask a coworker to be a reference and not spread work I'm leaving?

How does a resume get noticed? For the past year, I have been applying and applying and yes, you guessed it- applying for jobs and I got zero. I had a few great last round interviews, however recruiters found me on linkedIn. My resume has been looked over by three different career coaches, i have extensive experience/ bilingual and recently got creative seeking recruiters out on LinkedIn. All personalized, no copy/paste shenanigans. My resume is ATS friendly!

I had a technical discussion for HCL on 3rd Oct. It's been more than a week. I still haven't received a status on that interview. I have also received a "Resume shortlisted" mail from their careers app after a week.
Does it mean I'm selected? There's no intimation of the status at all. The HR don't reply on mails/calls.

I know VP positions can vary with YOE but based off of our talk & looking at JD, this is a very senior position looking for 10 YOE min - I have 3 YOE. I didn’t say anything initially and just sent my resume. I now have a call with HM who’s an SVP. I would love the role - should I dance around YOE or be clear in that I’m junior and would be willing to take a lower level to still be considered during the call?
