I accepted a offer from Deloitte USA for a position in their Analytics and Cognitive practice. The BGC is in progress for last 4 weeks and for the last two weeks there are no new updates/requests. How should I interpret this situation? Is this normal now a days for BGC to take this much time? Or are they waiting and watching the recent market downturn and hence holding the hiring? Any inputs and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Which companies have best WLB, least stressed DS/DA roles? I’ve been suffering from some immunology issues and stress from work would worsen it, therefore I want to move to a company/role with good benefit (esp. healthcare) and great WLB (little chance of PIP, etc). I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?
