Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

Good, if you have started from scratch. Could have been better with more equity exposure, but that’s dependent on your risk appetite
Yes I have started from scratch. I want to go 50-50 on equity and debt, but since a bulk of debt investments are locked into EPF and other govt products, I am unable to rebalance. Right now equity is only 33% of my portfolio.
Don’t overthink. You are way beyond others and moving towards wealth generation.
I think you are absolutely fine for 35...please share your expectations and other details as networth of 1.85 cr at 35 is definitely good...
However 60L in fd is 33% of your networth and 40L in gold is 20% approx...try to have fd exposure at 10-15% max and gold in another 10-15%...redirect 40-50 lakhs in equity, nps and other investment products for your networth to grow at faster rate with more time at hand for compounding
