I am a wreck. I recently got laid off on my government job due to government cuts and am out of work. I used to work at Comcast through a temp agency and they really liked my work and how punctual I was. I asked them if they were any available positions and yes there was. I applied to that position since it was under the same manager I had as a temp. I had an interview which was short since they already knew me and was mandatory. How likely will I get hired?

I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking. I didn't particularly enjoy either role and am not interested in moving over to the buy-side or some monotonous FP&A role. Everybody says there's exit-ops aplenty, but I find myself with less options and even more picky than I did as an ambitious T2 undergrad student. Where do I go from here?
