I am confused on how to gain more technical domain knowledge in FDD. I joined the firm for a different role but was forced into FDD after my project ended. Since I am in India, we majorly do a lot of data processing and formatting for the onshore team. My master's degree was in economics rather than accounting.

Although I am very comfortable with using Excel, Power Query and VBA, I am unfamiliar with the accounting/technical aspects of the work and make mistakes. How do I improve?

In talks with A&M to come over to their TAG practice from EY FDD as senior associate. Base salary is very competitive on top of the alluring "bonus" structure. 2 questions:

1. Do they normally offer sign on bonuses?
2. Is their any disadvantage between A&M FDD compared to B4 FDD in terms of exit ops down the road? Trying to look 5 years down the line

Has anyone left big 4 or other PA firms tax transaction service groups for industry (or know of anyone)?
