Looking for a new challenge. Interested in a referral into Salesforce. I’m currently a top performing senior Field Sales Executive selling new business subscription and SaaS into the corporate tech vertical. I live in the DMV area. Hit me up if you’d be willing to help with a referral at Salesforce. Thanks!!

Hi fishies. I have a ton of interviews coming up soon including a case interview at EY within their Innovation and Experience Design practice for Digital Strategy Manager. I am super comfortable with CX, design thinking, etc which are the types of projects I would be working on BUT I am absolutely terrible in case interviews. I was hoping it would be based on CX or design but my understanding is there is some revenue component idk. Anyone have any insight? I would greatly greatly appreciate it!

Hell no, almost half reduction in your salary
Stay at S&. The marginal value of the Bain brand and network over the S& brand and network are not worth a 40% compensation decrease over the next year or two.
I would think long term and not care about it now. You're not even a manager yet, meaning you are, most likely, <200k....
So we are talking pocket money here. In the longterm vision of possibly 5 years at Bain and exit ops!
Whoever tells you different is either jealous or confirms why they are at a tier 2 firm.
It takes money to make money.
100%.
Different game. Different "cachet"
Will it be different if my end-goal is an industry exit? I will prob need to take 3 years at Bain to be back to my salary level at S&. Will the exit opportunities be massively different?
Nah dude you should stay.
Heck no... 40% decrease?!
Not worth it if you are looking to exit to industry especially if it is Tech
Tech cares much less about consulting brand names than we do
Only if you think you can make it at B

I wouldn't take it right now if I were you, that's such a huge comp hit for not that big of a difference in exit ops
Noooope

Why not a lateral to consultant but going down? Seems odd. I’m SA2 going to SA3 but joining MBB at consultant level
Unless senior AC means 1 year to consultant, doesn’t sound like a good deal. If it’s 2 years then nah, especially if you plan to exit because our brand is also solid to do so

If you stay, essentially you’re 2 years away from being M (potentially faster). If you move, you’re looking at 3. In term of money, you’re walking away from quite a bit. In term of prestige, unclear how much you’ll be able to gain.
Do you have a target MBA? I assume no based on the situation. Therefore being at Bain will help get in top MBA should you want to do it in the future.
Is this in North America? Just ask because I’ve never heard of us hiring at the SAC level before.
