I’m 25 and have found a duplex I’m considering purchasing as a rental property. Planning on renting both units and have the cash to make the down payment without an issue. My cash flow analysis has a payback period of 3 years for my down payment and a 13 year payback period for the whole investment. I think financially it makes sense. My company is paying for one credit card. I'm leaning towards Amex Platinum given the large 100k sign up bonus at the moment (which I'll be able to hit). People lean towards CSR because of the 3x on dining but I don't eat out that much (and additional perks, but I prefer the Amex for that).

When I file my ITR, it is auto-populating the 'income from other sources' by 40k and increasing my tax liability by 10k however form 26as shows no tax liability.

Should I edit the header to Rs. Xx which is below 10k hence tax exempted and stick to info as per 26AS?

I have started working from jul2019 and I have filed my tax return for 2020 and 2021 tax years.


However I note that there was withholding of some amount in 2017-2018 and 2019 tax years ( withholding from comission received from insurance commission from lic and United india)

I have not filed 2017, 2018, 2019 return as my total income was less than threshold

Is it possible to file return for 2017 , 2018, 2019( all r in refund) now without paying any penalty?

I have created NPS account through SBI YONO app. PRAN is generated and I received my contribution copy as well through mail.
But when I try to login using my PRAN number it says invalid.
Can anyone please help why it’s happening like this??
