I am currently staring at an industry offer that is a direct match for my current $105k public salary, but it offers a massive 15% equity grant vesting over three years. The company is a privately held, family-funded logistics firm with zero plans to go public or sell to private equity anytime soon. Am I crazy for viewing this equity as essentially worth $0, or should I try to force them to convert that equity value into guaranteed base salary?

I was approached by an external recruiter about Houlihan Lokey TAS at a senior level (SVP / Director). No specific comp ranges discussed yet, but I hear bonuses are massive. Not sure if anyone has insights at that level as most posts are for analyst / associates - thoughts?

Also hearing about a lot of turnover at senior levels - for people who work there, what's the story? Is it a leadership problem or just limited to offices?

Recently I got an offer from Airbus. How will the work culture and learning over be there?

I know I've been low-balled in terms of salary. But if there is a good culture I'm happy to take it.

Anybody familiar with the Fisher Investments sales role? They give you a salary first 2 years plus commission, but the only thing that I don’t like is they no longer pay the trail on any account you open after 3 years. Hello, I recently was reached out to by an in-house recruiter at a similar but slightly different company than the one I currently work for. The recruiter provided a base range and an OTE range. The lower end of that range is what I am currently making. The higher end of that range is almost 200k more than my current comp. The role is almost identical. I wasn’t looking to move, but that higher end range would set my family up very nicely for our goals. But I am happy at my current company. Help?
