What are all the rounds of interviews in Deloitte USI? I had going through Technical and HR. Was expecting there would be some salary discussion during HR round, but wasn't any. Although they took my current CTC structure. I was told Talent team deals with salary and not the manager who contacted the HR round. Can someone please let me know what can I expect further? See if you can find people on LinkedIn who had that role/title under that manager previously and see if they can shed light
If you get an offer, ask to talk to other folks on that team to learn more. Totally reasonable for you to want to do your research before accepting.

these types of bosses are like NY’rs. rough around the edges but never fake and will have your back if you keep them happy.
I’m pretty unhappy in my current situation. At a firm that won’t let me relocate and have been looking for in house for a year, which is probably because I was too junior to be searching until recently
I wouldn’t work for someone who gives off red flags and I’ve only meet them once or twice. Nope
Depends on size of company. If this person has ability to influence leadership in all areas, I would stay well clear. I had this from a head of HR during my interview and I still took the job and she was a mega-See you next Tuesday (to everyone) during my time there. Wish I had heeded my own warning system.
Trust your gut and don’t second guess yourself. You don’t want a boss with these types of red flags. They won’t listen to you, and won’t set a good example for you to soak up leadership/manager practices. They may also have a very rocky relationship with others. If this is showing up in an interview, I’d be worried it would intensify when you are a direct report.
Speak to 2-3 people who left recently. This type of boss may also provide negative references, so former employees can tell you what’s going on.
Do you think that it’s maybe a one-off situation; specifically, have you had multiple interviews with them where they came off as you described or was it just from one interview? The fact that they moved you forward does mean they clearly connected with you in some way. I’ll advise that for the final round, if you have a chance to interview with potential team mates, find a tactful way to ask about their experience with this supervisor.
I met with them twice and they gave bad vibes both times. They made faces while I was speaking and said something that they thought was incorrect
I used to work with a coworker always look at the ceiling when I talk with her. Not fun.
