I am just curious; I got an offer from a famous Telecommunications company, and my first question after appreciating the offer was to ask if the compensation is negotiated. I was not given a clear answer and was told it was hard to get approval. This left a very negative impression about the work culture of this organization. After declining the offer, I emailed the recruiter to explain that I was open to negotiations. I have not heard back. What will you do in this situation?

So I finished my 3rd interview with a company and the TA specialist said they loved me but can’t meet me at my bottom line salary, however, I said I can negotiate and she said she’s going to speak with the decision makers and see if they’re okay with that. What does this mean? This is for a marketing specialist role. I’m asking for $70K bottom line

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.
