I am new to this so probably a dumb question but can you turn down a project, particularly when it is not for your alignment. It is not something I am interested in.

We’re in such a vicious business. You give your heart & soul to an agency, a client, a brand. Then the wind changes & you’re laid off, reassigned, chewed up, spit out, on to the next. I’m tired.

I will resign in coming few days. I want my notice period to be reduced from 60 day to say 30days. I am not occupied in client project currently. My question is to whom should I talk to get my notice period reduced? What is the process?

I am not interested in admin related projects.

Currently I work for a small company that does the construction of small cell utility poles and roof top sites for the major cell carriers like VZW, T-mobile, AT&T and so on. I am a project coordinator but I do everything under the sun. Created project tracker. Submitti bids, sourcing material, negotiating price on materials, handling post construction inspections, scheduling sub contractors, notifying stakeholders, coordinating with construction managers - property owners - building management.

Had interview rounds with client, director, partner however no round with HR but today got a mail for documents. Can i expect HR round now?

Where Cognizant offering more package almost 1.5 Lpa mor, but heard lot of negative review on social media like they don't have good project, no job security, they will make you to work on other tech etc . Been 3 months since I joined Luxoft and I am assigned to a backward DXC project. The lead is oppressive and bossy. There is no work-life balance and 9:30 hours of work is not enough for them. My probation period is going to end soon. Should I inform my Luxoft manager and tell him to change my project right now ? Or shall I wait for him to end my probation period ?

Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). Having a moment and wanted to make a post. I lost a special family member suddenly in April 2020. And then another July 2020. And then the most influential person in my life in February 2021. And then another big loss in April 2022. I’m still grieving. Every single day. Some days are better than others. I’ve had heightened anxiety and depression with it. My heart hurts all of the time. (For example, “ready when reached”). I’m open to doing this and this attorney is asking what my fee would be?
