I have received offer from Wipro which is little above than the offer that I am holding but fixed pay is less. Thinking of rejecting Wipro offer. Is it better to reject or accept and then not join. Also if I reject, will there be any issue like they won't consider me in future?Tata Consultancy Wipro Cognizant Infosys

I wouldn’t leave Deloitte for KPMG. Have Deloitte match offer.
Even core model at Deloitte struggles to pay 145k to Senior consultants. I’m sure USDC definitely cannot match this.
If you’re getting a core consulting role at KPMG and it’s not like the USDC at Deloitte then I’d say it’s worth it to leave
Pro
I’d say go for it especially if you’re in USDC at Deloitte
Pro
Agree. Anything to get out of USDC.
Always negotiate
You want $145k as a senior associate? What do you have like 2 whole years of work experience? Don’t lowball yourself kid, shoot for the moon. Ask for avocado toast to be doordashed to your mom’s house everyday too while you’re negotiating.
12+ years
KPMG 2 is being sarcastic OP.
😕😕
135 + 15 = 150 which is unheard of as senior total comp at KPMG. I’d definitely stay at Deloitte, but if you come to KPMG, that starting comp as a senior is phenomenal.
Go and cone back to core if you don't like it there.. I am in Deloitte but on core. I know how USDC is exploited
I thought all experienced hires were put on hold?
Depends if it is for a sold and funded engagement or not.
I'm confused, what is "expected base" in this context? HR told you the max base is $135k for the position, so shouldn't your "expected base" offer be no higher than $135k since they literally told you that's the highest they can go?
K5…expected base is what the recruiter asked OP what they were expecting as a base. OP said $145k. Recruiter said max is $135k. OP wants to know if they should play hard ball and not accept $135k which is more than a fair ask. There’s always. wiggle room. Maybe not $10k but there’s something
How many years of experience. I got a offer 4 months ago and I started 3 months ago.
12 yrs 3 months. What's your comp? How is it so far?
Dissappointed on the update provided by the HR -
As you know, all of the feedback has been great but at this time we do not have an available client project to place you. I imagine this will change shortly, but understand if you are unable to wait until that time.
Wait what…they gave you an offer of $135k and then rescinded it? Was it a written or verbal offer?
