I’m 26 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out my leave. I live in NJ and work at PwC, any fishes know the policy for NJ and PwC? The leave center has not been much help and I want to plan NOW not like 60 days before. I was told NJ gets two weeks before due date and PwC gives you two weeks as well.
Did you/would you get booster during pregnancy?

+1 for unisom! I had terrible insomnia (same as OP- fell asleep fine but then just wide awake after a few hours) during pregnancy but it really saved me. Took a little while to figure out the right dose but I also went with half a pill and it was a huge help.
Same! Note that Unisom has 2 different formulations (diff active ingredients) now I can’t remember which one helped me but maybe someone can chime in/if you look on Reddit should be some info
The only thing that helped me was unisom, but I started taking half a pill which worked while not making me quite as groggy. I took half a unisom every night for the last 2ish months.
Ok. I have the gel tabs so I may have to buy the ones I can break in half. Thanks
... falling asleep as something that can help stay asleep
I don’t know if it’s approved for pregnancy but I’ve started drinking the Recess Magnesium drinks. I’m now awake only if one of the kids gets up yelling or when the alarm goes off. It also doesn’t leave me groggy the next day.
I’m so sorry to tell you, but to give you this straight: I had zero symptoms with my first and awful insomnia with my second. Unfortunately, nothing helped..except giving birth!
Just expressing some solidarity.
Ok, thanks. 8 more weeks 😩
+1 for trying half unisom to get acquainted with it
Also, i’ve had a phase of this for me my food habits also played into the picture. If i eat low protein and mostly carbs during the day / especially for dinner i will be up around 2 ish in the night for an hour or so even thought i get a snack and try to go back to sleep.
