Have 3 busy seasons of big4 audit experience and going on 3 years in the finance/ops department of a F75 company. CPA and I’ve always been a top performer. I don’t have any interest in accounting and Primarily work on and enjoy improving processes at my company and am thinking about trying to do some type of process improvement consulting for financial service firms. Does anyone have any insight on this type of career or a similar path?

Do I have to notify the ARDC of this change (IL licensed)? Do I have to immediately switch to inactive status or can I stay active in case I decide to keep practicing law just a few months later? Hi all- My SO is currently at a Big4 & was initially preparing for S&O roles at GCP but given the high number of ex MBB consultants hired, they believe its just more competition to get the offer & to eventually get promoted over time.

Instead, they have decided to pursue program manager or cloud consultant roles, which they feel might have a lower barrier to entry from an assessment standpoint. Not sure if the bowl agrees but would like to get your thoughts, thanks!

If you start as a Program Manager, how/when do you begin to advise people as a people lead? I’ve heard Program Managers are not people leads. I started lead a team of 3 about a month ago at my current job and don’t want to lose leadership experience but have been told my YOE would map to a Program Manager level at Google.

Do you need a doctoral degree to get ahead in pharmacy? Or do folks land higher salaries even without one?

Does PHR certification help in India, as this is globally recognised how much valuable is this currently in indian job market.

How can I add multiple characteristics within one cell and make sure that a pivot table can read both values independently if needed? E.g., I have a column titled “color” and in one cell I write “red” and the other “red, blue”. My onboarding coordinator told me that I can still join even if education check is still in progress, provided there wont be any flags. I’ve been promoted with a title but not the responsibilities. I’m job searching and am primarily looking at postings that don’t include my promoted title — I’m not sure how to professionally articulate in an interview why I would be willing to take a “step down”. As I see it, I’m looking for a lateral move because I don’t actual have experience as a true “senior”.
