I appeared for f2f interview on 11th July'26.

I had also received a call from HR on 13th July'26, he asked for few details on education, relevant experience, CCTC and ECTC.
He said he is not sure if he will get the approval for the compensation and said he will get back.
After that I got the mail to fill the CIS and CDF-2 form on 17th July'26 along with some documents.
Post that I have not heard from the HR.
Anyone can comment what is the expected timeline for the HR to get back.

I just got a job offer for an Entry Level Software Engineer at Boeing in Saint Louis. The salary is $82,000 with an $8,000 sign on bonus. I was hoping for an offer closer to 90k base and I don’t care too much for a sign on bonus. However, this is a lot more than what I’m making now, and would be my first SWE job. Should I counter?
