Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Nope. Online assessment is not an indicator of an interview or not.
No idea. Probably team dependent. Also I believe it’s new within past couple years so if you applied before that’s why you didn’t see it.
I think that online assessment is just very generic - not tied to a specific position or interview process

Nothing short of reaching out to the Hiring Manager. I've applied and passed the assessment stage for double digital roles over the past year and had just 1 recruiter reach out randomly

I believe they look for logically consistent answers, openness to collaboration, and ability to problem solve in unknown situations.
Nope. I passed the assessment, waited, never received an interview, and then just got a rejection. Was a bit unusual.
