I applied for an underwriting role at a big carrier, made it to the final interview round, and felt like it went well. That was a month ago, and I haven't heard anything, even though the recruiter said I'd hear back within two weeks. Is it worth sending a polite follow-up email, or should I just move on and not risk burning bridges?

Looking to exit from 195k base to a sales role base 140 + 40 in guaranteed bonus year 1 to make up for the lengthy sales cycle.
